Amy & Paul @ Deans Court Wimborne
November 20, 2015Amy & Paul got married at St Martin on the Wall
church in Wareham. I had never seen or set foot in this church even
after driving past it so many time on the way into Wareham! It has to be
the smallest and most amazing church in Dorset not to mention the
oldest.
The building was built in 1030, and the church contains early medieval wall
paintings, along with an effigy of Lawrence of Arabia. Basically
amazing!
The Reverend for the day was Amy’s Uncle and had done
all the family weddings so was the obvious choice for her wedding. Not
to mention he was pretty much the most laid back Reverend I’ve ever had.
After the service was over came the confetti throw and a
drive in the most amazing 1960 split screen camper from Dorset Dub Hire
over to Dean’s Court in Wimborne. Dean’s Court
is an 8th Century home that has been in the same family since 1548 and
is the most amazing building in the most amazing grounds.
So please check out the pics including a bride on a bouncy castle!!
